Station Casinos initially planned to contest the disciplinary action, which was filed last September and charged the company with accepting approximately 348 wagers on events with already known outcomes, often referred to as “past-posting.” The company said customers and the state weren’t financially affected by the issues. Station Casinos is the operating subsidiary of gaming corporation Red Rock Resorts. The stipulated settlement with the Nevada Gaming Control Board was agreed to on June 10 and was approved Thursday by the Nevada Gaming Commission on a 5-0 vote. Station Casinos agreed to pay an $80,000 fine to Nevada gaming regulators to settle a two-count complaint concerning serious glitches in the company’s sports wagering system at Red Rock Resort.
